The Edgar and Jo Anne Jones Women's Diagnostic Center at Tri-City Medical Center recently celebrated its two-year anniversary on March 28, 2003. In two years of operation, the landmark Center has provided over 25,000 mammograms to residents of San Diego County.

With the opening of this elegant Women's Diagnostic Center, Tri-City Medical Center will reach beyond the standards in offering a professional, feminine environment to meet the breast health needs of North County women, while recognizing them as the unique individuals they are.

The Center itself houses state-of-the-art mammography equipment, as well as a stereotactic breast biopsy machine and offers an array of vital breast health services in an elegant, serene and distinctly feminine environment.

Every design aspect of the Edgar and Jo Anne Jones Women's Diagnostic Center was overseen personally by Mrs. Jo Anne Jones, past President of the Tri-City Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and breast cancer survivor.
