The Child Study Center, located in the La Costa region of south Carlsbad, provides diagnostic and treatment services to children with developmental and behavioral disorders in order to promote optimal functioning and the attainment of the child’s full potential in life.
Dr. Alice Wiedenhoff, Director of the North County Child Study Center, states that “the mission of the Child Study Center is accomplished through the diagnosis and treatment of children who are at risk for or have developmental and behavior disorders through the provision of education and counseling to their parents and other caretakers. An interdisciplinary team using a coordinated and comprehensive approach provides these needed services.”
